This Privacy Policy explains what personal information FastFindRemoteJobs collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It covers our website at fastfindremotejobs.com, your subscriber dashboard, and the alert emails and text messages we send. It also covers our job-monitoring crawler as far as it relates to personal information.
It does not cover employers' career sites, the sign-in services you choose to use (such as Google or Microsoft), or Stripe's hosted checkout and billing pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Our [Terms of Service] [LINK], [Refund & Cancellation Policy] [LINK] and [SMS Terms] [LINK] also apply to your use of the service.
The short version
- We are a paid job-alert service, not a job board. To send you alerts, we need your account details, your alert rules (industries and keywords), your delivery schedule and, if you add text alerts, your mobile number.
- We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- We use essential cookies and local storage only. Our marketing pages use cookieless analytics.
- Stripe handles your card. We never see your full card number.
- We keep your keywords out of our logs. Your job search can be confidential, and we treat it that way.
- You can export your data and delete your account yourself, from your dashboard, at any time.
- Unsubscribing from alert emails pauses your alerts but does not cancel your subscription. To stop billing, cancel in Billing.
- Text alerts need your opt-in. Reply STOP to stop them or HELP for help. We don't send marketing texts.
- The service is for adults in the United States only.
1. Who we are
FastFindRemoteJobs is operated by Conner Strategic Systems LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). In this policy, "you" means a visitor to our website, a person on our waitlist, a subscriber, or someone who contacts us.
FastFindRemoteJobs is a subscription alert service. We monitor employers' own public career sites and job feeds, detect new remote job postings open to people in the United States, and notify each subscriber about the jobs that match the employer industries and keywords they chose. You can't browse or search jobs on our site. You apply on the employer's own website. We are not affiliated with the employers whose jobs we monitor.
Contact: privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com, or by mail at [MAILING ADDRESS]. See Section 17 for other contacts.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
Account information. This is your name and email address, and your password if you create one. You can also sign in with an email link or with Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, X or Yahoo instead (see Section 2.3). Your password is handled by our authentication provider (Google Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform), which stores it in a hashed form. We cannot see it. If you turn on multi-factor authentication with an authenticator app, our authentication provider stores the information needed to check your codes.
Age and location confirmation. When you sign up, you confirm (for example, by accepting our Terms) that you are at least 18 years old and located in the United States.
Alert rules and job-search preferences. These are the employer industries you choose, your keywords and exclusions, whether to search job titles only or titles and descriptions, your remote-eligibility settings (for example, US-wide, specific states, Canada, or "anywhere"), and your other rule options and on/off settings.
Delivery schedule and notification preferences. These are your time zone, your schedule for each day of the week (Off, 24 hours, or a start-stop window) for email and text alerts, "Skip empty emails," the optional email throttle for Ultra, whether email alerts are paused, and an optional separate email address for alerts (which we verify separately).
Mobile number and text-message consent (SMS add-on only). If you add text alerts, we collect your US mobile number. We confirm it with a one-time code sent by text. We also keep a record of your consent: the version of the consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the IP address and browser information (user agent) used when you agreed.
Subscription and billing information. This is the plan and add-ons you choose, any promotional code you use, and your subscription status. When you check out, we also keep a record of your agreement to automatic renewal: the version of the renewal terms and checkbox you saw, the plan and recurring amount shown, the time, and the checkout session reference. We add a note of when we sent your subscription acknowledgment and any later renewal or change notices. Payments are made by card through Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's pages, not ours, and we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe may share limited details with us, such as the card type and the last four digits, along with the billing address and other information Stripe needs to calculate sales tax.
Dashboard actions and feedback. This includes jobs you save, dismiss or mark as applied, when you click "Apply on employer site," problem reports you send about a job (for example, "not remote" or "closed"), the reason you give when you cancel, and your answers to any optional in-app surveys.
Messages to us. This is the content of emails and contact-form messages you send to support@, billing@, privacy@, abuse@ or bot@, and our replies.
Waitlist. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and the industries, keywords and plan interest you tell us about, plus a record of the consent wording you agreed to. We ask you to confirm your email address before we add you.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Technical and security information. When you use our website or dashboard, our systems receive your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), and the date and time of your requests. We use this to deliver pages, protect against abuse, and keep accounts secure. For security, we also look at signals such as how many networks, browsers and simultaneous sessions are used on an account, and an approximate location inferred from IP address. We use these to detect account sharing, suspicious sign-ins and attacks.
Matches. When a job matches one of your rules, we create a record of that match for your dashboard, along with the reason it matched. We also keep records that schedule and track the alerts we send you, such as when an alert was released and when it was handed to our email or text provider.
Email and text delivery information. We receive delivery information from our email and SMS providers. This includes whether a message was delivered or bounced, spam complaints, unsubscribe requests, and replies such as STOP and HELP. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: We do not use tracking pixels or tracked links in our emails to see whether you opened or clicked a message.]
Product analytics. We record how the service is used, such as sign-ups, completed onboarding, saved rules, dashboard visits, "Apply" clicks, problem reports and cancellations. These records are tied to a hashed (pseudonymized) account ID, not to your name or email. We use them to understand and improve the service.
Website analytics. Our public marketing pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It is not used on your dashboard.
Cookies and local storage. See Section 11.
2.3 Information from other companies
Sign-in providers. If you choose to sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, X or Yahoo, that provider sends us information to identify you. Depending on the provider and your settings there, this usually includes your name, your email address and an account identifier from that provider. We use this information only to create, identify and secure your account and to provide the service to you (for example, sending alerts to your email address). We do not receive your password for that provider. Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may add other sign-in options later, such as LinkedIn, phone-number sign-in or passkeys. If we do, we will update this policy before they go live.
Stripe. Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded or failed, sends us subscription and invoice status, and may share limited payment details as described in Section 2.1.
Email and SMS providers. These providers tell us about deliveries, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes and STOP/HELP replies, as described in Section 2.2.
Security services. Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise / Firebase App Check and Cloudflare Turnstile tell us whether a sign-up, sign-in or form submission looks automated or abusive.
2.4 Employers, job postings and our crawler
Our crawler, "FastFindRemoteJobsBot," collects facts about jobs from employers' public, logged-out career pages and public job feeds. These facts are the job title, company, location, remote status, dates, salary if published, and the link to the posting. We don't intentionally collect personal information about individuals from job postings. We don't store full job descriptions for display, and we never show them to subscribers or republish them; our Crawler and Bot Policy describes two limited internal exceptions (AI checks on public posting text, and a small internal training sample).
If an employer asks us to stop monitoring its site, we collect the requester's name and email address, the company domain, how we verified the request (for example, an email from the company's domain or a DNS record), and the request's status.
2.5 What we don't collect
We don't ask for your resume, Social Security number, or precise (GPS) location. We don't collect information about your contacts.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the service. This means creating your account, running your alert rules against new jobs, putting matches on your dashboard, and sending email and text alerts according to your plan, schedule and settings.
- Process payments and manage your subscription. This includes charging and renewing your subscription, calculating sales tax, handling upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, failed payments and refunds, and applying promotional codes.
- Send service messages. These include account verification, sign-in links, password resets, security alerts, your subscription acknowledgment and receipts, notices about renewals, payment problems, cancellation and deletion, and notices of material changes to our terms or this policy. They also include the 30-day warning before we delete an inactive account (see Section 7).
- Keep the service and your account secure. This includes preventing fraud, spam and automated abuse, and enforcing our one-person-per-account rule. If we see signs that an account is shared, resold or compromised, we may ask you to re-verify, sign you out of other sessions, or suspend the account as our Terms describe.
- Provide support. We answer your questions, investigate problem reports, and handle privacy, billing and abuse requests.
- Show in-dashboard plan information. For example, if you are on Pro or Basic, your dashboard may show a count of how many of your upcoming matches Ultra members have already received. It shows only a number, never job details.
- Measure and improve the service. This includes measuring alert speed, improving match quality and our job classifications, and fixing errors. Our monthly public Speed Report uses only aggregate statistics and contains no personal information. We may use problem reports, without your identity attached, to correct job information and improve how we label jobs.
- Comply with the law and protect rights. This includes keeping tax and consent records, responding to lawful requests, enforcing our Terms, and protecting our users, the public and ourselves.
What we don't do with your information. We don't use your information for advertising. We don't sell it. We don't build profiles of you for others.
Our use of AI. We use an AI model, Google Gemini through Vertex AI, to help classify public company and job information, such as an employer's industry or whether a job is remote. It does not receive information about subscribers.
No significant automated decisions about you. Matching follows the rules you set. We don't use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, such as decisions about hiring, credit or housing. Employers make their own hiring decisions on their own sites.
4. Our legal reasons for using your information
US law generally doesn't require us to name a "legal basis" for each use of your information. To be transparent, here is how we think about it:
- To deliver what you signed up for. Most of what we do is necessary to provide the service under our Terms of Service.
- With your consent. We send text alerts only with your express consent. We send optional emails, such as waitlist updates, only if you asked for them or as the law permits. You can withdraw consent at any time (Section 9).
- For legitimate business needs. These include security, fraud prevention, support, and improving the service, in ways you would reasonably expect.
- To meet legal obligations. These include tax, consumer-protection and telecommunications rules.
5. How we share your information
5.1 Service providers
We share personal information with service providers that process it to provide services to us, under their terms with us. Some of them, such as Stripe, Twilio and Google (for reCAPTCHA), may also use limited information for their own purposes, such as preventing fraud, keeping their services secure and meeting their legal obligations, as their own privacy policies describe.
| What they do for us | Provider | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting, database, file storage, analytics storage and logs | Google Cloud | The information described in Section 2 that we store |
| Sign-in and account security | Google Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform; Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Firebase App Check | Account and sign-in information; device and browser signals used for bot detection. Firebase Authentication also sends sign-in link, verification and password-reset emails. |
| Sending email (now) | Google Workspace (Gmail) | Your email address(es) and the content of the emails we send you, which may include job details and why a job matched your rule. Also used for our support mailboxes. |
| Sending email (later) | Postmark | The same information, once we move alert and account email to Postmark |
| Text messages | Twilio | Your mobile number, the content of the texts we send you (such as a job title and company, or a count of new matches, plus a short link), delivery status, and STOP/HELP replies |
| Payments, subscriptions and sales tax | Stripe (including Stripe Tax) | Name, email, billing details, subscription and payment history. Your card details go directly to Stripe. |
| DNS, website analytics and form protection | Cloudflare (DNS, Web Analytics, Turnstile) | Technical information about visits to our marketing pages and forms |
| Service-status page | [STATUS PAGE PROVIDER] | Your email address, only if you choose to subscribe to status updates there |
| Help desk (if we adopt one) | [HELP DESK PROVIDER] | Your support messages and contact details |
| AI classification of public job data | Google Gemini (Vertex AI) | No subscriber information. Only public company and job information. |
5.2 Sign-in providers you choose
When you sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, X or Yahoo, that provider learns that you are signing in to FastFindRemoteJobs. We don't post to your accounts with those providers, and we don't share your alert rules or matches with them.
5.3 Other sharing
We may also disclose personal information:
- To follow the law. This means responding to valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or where the law otherwise requires it.
- To protect rights and safety. This means investigating fraud, security incidents or violations of our Terms, or protecting the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
- In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, personal information may be transferred as part of that deal. Any successor must handle it consistently with this policy, or give you notice and any choices the law requires.
- At your direction or with your consent.
5.4 Aggregate and de-identified information
We may publish or share information that does not identify you, such as the monthly Speed Report or overall statistics about matches. When we keep information in de-identified form, we do not try to re-identify it, except as the law permits for testing our de-identification.
5.5 What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold it.
- We do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
- We do not use advertising cookies, pixels or trackers.
- We do not give employers your name, email address, alert rules or matches.
- We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes (California "Shine the Light" law, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83).
5.6 Text-message (SMS) information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers we use to deliver our text-message program (such as Twilio). The other sharing described in this Section 5 does not apply to text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
About our text program. Our text program, "FastFindRemoteJobs Alerts," sends recurring, automated job-alert texts to subscribers who choose the SMS add-on and opt in on our website, by checking a consent box that is never pre-checked and then confirming their number with a one-time code. Message frequency varies with your plan, matches and settings, up to about 40 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any plan. We do not send marketing texts. US mobile numbers only. See our [SMS Terms] [LINK].
6. Where your information is stored
We host FastFindRemoteJobs on Google Cloud. The information we store there is kept in Google's us-central1 region in Iowa, USA. This includes your profile, alert rules, matches, our logs and analytics, and our backups. A Google Cloud organization policy restricts where we can create those resources.
A few parts of the service can't be limited to that one region:
- Sign-in records (Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform) are stored in Google data centers in the United States.
- Some sign-in pages are delivered through Google's global network (Firebase Hosting). We route them through our own domain.
- Email we send through Google Workspace is handled on Google's global Workspace infrastructure.
- Bot and abuse protection (Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Firebase App Check) runs on Google's global infrastructure.
- Google's management systems for billing, access control and monitoring are global. Our monitoring data itself is stored in us-central1.
- The AI model we use (Gemini on Vertex AI) runs in Google's US multi-region. It processes only public company and job information.
- Our other service providers (Stripe, Twilio, Cloudflare, Postmark when we adopt it, and our status-page and help-desk providers) store and process information on their own infrastructure. That may include locations outside the United States.
For more detail, see our [Data Residency Statement] [LINK].
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Account profile, sign-in record, alert rules, delivery schedule and notification preferences | While your account exists. If your subscription ends and you don't return, we delete your account and this information 24 months after cancellation. We email you a warning 30 days before deletion. If you delete your account, we delete it then. |
| Subscription status (which plan and add-ons you have) | While your account exists; deleted when your account is deleted |
| Dashboard matches | Shown for 72 hours after the job was first detected; deleted automatically about 96 hours after first detection |
| Alert scheduling (delivery) records | 14 days |
| Records of email and text batches sent | 30 days |
| Email delivery events (delivered, bounced, complaints) | 90 days |
| Email suppression list (unsubscribes, bounces, complaints) | Kept indefinitely, stored as a hashed (scrambled) email address, so we continue to honor your choice |
| Mobile number (SMS add-on) | Deleted when you remove the SMS add-on or delete your account |
| SMS consent records (consent wording version, time, IP address, browser information, opt-out status) | For as long as you have the SMS add-on, plus 4 years, so we can show we had your permission. After your number is deleted, the record keeps only a hashed version of it. |
| Problem reports about jobs | Up to 1 year; deleted sooner if you delete your account |
| Billing event records we receive from Stripe | 35 days |
| Record of your agreement to automatic renewal at checkout, and log of renewal-related notices we sent | [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM; suggested: the longer of 3 years after you agreed or 1 year after your subscription ends]. Kept as a minimal record even if you delete your account, so we can show what you agreed to. |
| Invoices and payment records held by Stripe | Kept by Stripe as long as tax and financial laws require. When you delete your account, we remove our account ID from your Stripe customer record. |
| Support messages | [OWNER TO CONFIRM; suggested: 24 months after your last message] |
| Copies of emails and texts we sent you, held by our email and SMS providers | Google Workspace: [OWNER TO CONFIRM retention of sent-mail copies]. Postmark (later): the shortest message-content retention Postmark offers. Twilio: [OWNER TO CONFIRM message-log retention or redaction settings]. |
| Application and security logs | 30 days |
| Product analytics (hashed account IDs only) | 13 months |
| Waitlist sign-ups | 12 months, or until you become a subscriber |
| Contact-form messages | 12 months |
| Employer opt-out requests | For as long as the opt-out is in effect, so we can keep honoring it [OWNER TO CONFIRM any added period after an opt-out is reversed; suggested: 2 years] |
| Record that an account was deleted (hashed account ID only) | [OWNER TO CONFIRM] |
Backups. We keep backups so we can recover from errors and outages. Point-in-time recovery covers the last 7 days, daily backups are kept for 14 days, and weekly exports are kept for 90 days. Information you delete stays in backups until it ages out of these windows, which takes no more than about 90 days. We don't restore deleted information from backups, except to recover from an incident. If we ever have to restore, we re-apply deletions that happened after the backup was made. [OWNER TO CONFIRM this restore practice.]
What remains after you delete your account. We keep only what we need for legal, compliance or security reasons, plus records that expire on their own schedule:
- invoices and payment records at Stripe;
- SMS consent records, with a hashed phone number;
- the record of your agreement to automatic renewal at checkout;
- hashed email suppressions, so we don't email you again by mistake;
- a deletion record with a hashed account ID;
- records that expire on the schedule above: logs (30 days), email delivery events (90 days), product analytics with hashed account IDs (13 months), support messages, and copies held by our email and SMS providers;
- information in backups, until it ages out.
8. How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards suited to the information we handle. They include:
- encryption in transit (HTTPS) for our website, dashboard and API, and Google Cloud's default encryption of stored data;
- payment cards handled by Stripe, so we never receive full card numbers;
- optional multi-factor authentication for subscribers, and required multi-factor authentication for our administrators and vendor accounts;
- access limits: day-to-day operations, including automated and AI-assisted tools, run under accounts that can't read subscriber records. Only our owner's administrator account, protected by multi-factor authentication, can access subscriber records, and changes made through our admin tools are recorded;
- application logs designed to record only an internal account ID, not your email address, IP address or keywords. Security records are the exception, because they need IP and browser information;
- bot protection, rate limiting and web-attack filtering, plus the ability to sign out all sessions on an account.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
You can help by using a strong, unique password or a secure sign-in provider, turning on multi-factor authentication, and keeping your email account secure.
9. Your choices and controls
9.1 In your dashboard
- See and export your data. Download a copy of your profile, alert rules, current matches (last 72 hours) and subscription status as a file you can take with you. For anything not in the export, email privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com.
- Correct your data. Edit your name, alert email, rules, schedule and notification settings at any time. To correct anything you can't edit yourself, contact us.
- Delete your account. Use "Delete account." This cancels your subscription, signs you out everywhere, and deletes your personal information, subject to the exceptions in Section 7. Your access ends right away. See our [Refund & Cancellation Policy] [LINK] for how deletion affects billing.
- Cancel your subscription. Cancel online at any time in Billing, which uses the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period. Canceling does not delete your account; Section 7 explains what happens to your data after cancellation.
9.2 Email
- Pausing alert emails. Each alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it pauses your alert emails but does not cancel your subscription or stop billing. To stop billing, cancel in Billing.
- Required messages. While you have an account, we will still send messages about security, billing, your subscription and legal notices.
- Optional emails. Waitlist updates and any other optional emails include an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
9.3 Text messages
- Reply STOP to any text to stop text alerts. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn texts off in your notification settings.
- Removing the SMS add-on deletes your mobile number (Section 7).
- [OWNER TO CONFIRM: whether replying STOP also removes the SMS add-on from billing, or whether you must also remove the add-on in Billing.]
9.4 Sign-in connections
You can remove our access in your sign-in provider's account settings. For example, Facebook users can do this in the "Apps and Websites" area of their Facebook settings. Removing access there doesn't delete your FastFindRemoteJobs account or the information we hold. To delete it, use "Delete account" in your dashboard or email privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com from the email address on your account.
10. Your privacy rights
Some state privacy laws give residents specific rights, for example in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states. Whether or not a particular state law applies to us, we offer the following rights to everyone who uses our service in the United States.
10.1 Your rights
- Know and access. You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how we got it, why we use it, and who we disclose it to, and get a copy.
- Portability. You can get your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Correct. You can ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Delete. You can ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions (Section 7).
- Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and significant profiling. We don't do any of these, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can still send us a request, and we will record it.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information. See Section 10.7.
- Appeal. You can appeal if we decline your request (Section 10.5).
- Non-discrimination. We won't penalize you for exercising your rights (Section 10.6).
10.2 How to make a request
- Use the export, edit and delete tools in your dashboard, or
- email privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com with the subject line "Privacy request." Please send it from the email address on your account, and tell us what you are asking for.
Because we operate only online and have a direct relationship with our subscribers, email is our method for receiving requests. There is no charge. If requests are clearly unfounded or excessive, we may decline them or charge a reasonable fee, as the law allows.
10.3 Verifying your identity
To protect your information, we verify requests before acting on them.
- If you use the dashboard tools, signing in to your account is the verification.
- If you email us, we will usually ask you to confirm the request from the email address on your account, or by signing in. We may ask for more information if we can't verify you that way.
We use information provided for verification only for verification. We won't ask for a Social Security number to verify a request.
10.4 Authorized agents
You can have an authorized agent make a request for you. We may ask the agent for proof of your signed permission. We may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us, or to confirm that you gave the agent permission. We won't require these steps if the agent has a valid power of attorney under applicable law.
10.5 Timing and appeals
We will confirm receipt of an emailed request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by up to 45 more days, and we will tell you why.
If we decline all or part of your request, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com with the subject line "Privacy appeal." We will respond to your appeal within 45 days, unless the law allows more time and we tell you why. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
10.6 Non-discrimination
We won't deny you the service, charge you a different price, or give you a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right. Some requests do affect what we can provide, though. For example, once your account and alert rules are deleted, we can't send you alerts.
10.7 Sensitive personal information
The only "sensitive personal information" we collect, as some state laws define that term, is your account sign-in credentials. We use them only to sign you in, keep your account secure, and provide the service. We don't use them to infer anything about you. Because we use them only for these permitted purposes, we don't offer a separate "limit the use" option.
We also know that your keywords and job-search activity may reveal a confidential job search, even though the law may not label them sensitive. We protect them accordingly (Section 8).
10.8 Categories of personal information (California disclosure)
This table describes the personal information we collect, using the categories in the California Consumer Privacy Act. It also serves as our notice at collection. The sources, purposes and retention periods are in Sections 2, 3 and 7.
| Category | What it includes for us | Disclosed for business purposes to |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address(es), mobile number (SMS add-on), account ID, sign-in provider account ID, IP address | Hosting and authentication, email, SMS, payment, help-desk and status-page providers (Section 5.1). Your mobile number goes only to Google Cloud (storage) and Twilio (sending texts); see Section 5.6. |
| Customer records (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) | Name, email, phone number, limited billing details (card type, last four digits, billing address) | Stripe; Google Cloud |
| Commercial information | Plan, add-ons, promotional codes, subscription and payment history, auto-renewal consent records | Stripe; Google Cloud |
| Internet or other electronic network activity | Dashboard actions, Apply clicks, product analytics, email and text delivery events, security logs, browser and device information, marketing-page visits | Google Cloud; Cloudflare; email and SMS providers |
| Geolocation data (approximate only) | Approximate location inferred from IP address, used only for security | Google Cloud |
| Professional or employment-related information | Your job-search preferences (industries, keywords, remote eligibility), saved and applied jobs, problem reports | Google Cloud; email providers (in alert emails); Twilio (job title and company in texts) |
| Inferences | The jobs we match to you based on your rules | Google Cloud; email and SMS providers (in alerts) |
| Sensitive personal information | Account sign-in credentials | Google Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform |
| Communications with us | Support, billing, privacy, abuse and crawler messages; consent records | Google Workspace; [HELP DESK PROVIDER] |
We have not sold or "shared" (for cross-context behavioral advertising) any of these categories, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing personal information of anyone under 16.
10.9 Promotions
[ATTORNEY/OWNER TO CONFIRM: If we offer a discount, comped access or other benefit in exchange for personal information or feedback (for example, a launch promo code for joining the waitlist, or free beta access for survey responses), we will describe its material terms when we offer it, including how to withdraw at any time. If required, we will also provide a Notice of Financial Incentive with a good-faith estimate of the value of the information.]
10.10 Nevada residents
We do not sell "covered information" as Nevada law defines it. You can still send a request to privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and browser storage only. These are what the service needs to work and stay secure. They:
- keep you signed in and manage your session (our authentication provider stores sign-in information in your browser's storage);
- protect sign-up, sign-in and our forms from bots and abuse (Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise / Firebase App Check and Cloudflare Turnstile may set or read their own security cookies or device signals for this purpose);
- remember settings the service needs while you use it.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Our marketing pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. If you block cookies or local storage in your browser, you may not be able to sign in or use the dashboard.
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
When you go to Stripe's checkout or billing pages, or to a sign-in provider's page, those companies set their own cookies under their own policies.
12. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a GPC signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. That applies to the browser that sends it and, if you are signed in, to your account. Because we don't sell or share personal information or do targeted advertising, honoring the signal doesn't change how the service works for you.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, so we don't respond to them differently. This doesn't affect your privacy here, because we don't track you across other websites over time. We also don't allow third parties to collect information about your activity on our service for advertising or cross-site tracking. Our security and analytics providers (Section 11) receive limited technical information for the purposes described above.
13. Children
FastFindRemoteJobs is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and you must be 18 or older to create an account. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you think a minor has given us personal information, contact privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com.
14. Users outside the United States
The service is offered only to individuals in the United States, and text alerts are available only for US mobile numbers. We do not offer the service to people outside the United States. If you visit our website from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, and by our service providers where they operate (Section 6).
15. Employer sites and other links
When you click "Apply on employer site" or any other link to a third-party site, you leave our service. The employer's site, and any site it uses for applications, has its own privacy policy and practices. We don't control them. We don't send employers your name, email address or alert rules. Your browser may still tell the employer's site that you arrived from ours (for example, through referrer information).
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
If we make a material change, we will notify subscribers by email or with a prominent notice in the dashboard at least [NOTICE PERIOD; suggested: 30] days before it takes effect, unless a change is required sooner by law or for security. Examples of material changes are collecting new kinds of personal information, using it in a new way, or sharing it with new kinds of recipients. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it. We won't use personal information we already have in a materially different way without telling you first and, where required, getting your consent.
