Terms of Service
Last updated (draft)
This document is a draft and may change before the service launches.
FastFindRemoteJobs (fastfindremotejobs.com)
- Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
- Last updated: [LAST UPDATED DATE]
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Conner Strategic Systems LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company that operates FastFindRemoteJobs ("we," "us," or "our"). They cover your use of our website at fastfindremotejobs.com, your subscriber dashboard, and the job alerts we send by email and text message (together, the "service"). "You" means the person using the service.
Please read these Terms carefully. Among other things, they include:
- automatic renewal: your subscription renews every month, and you're charged each month until you cancel (section 6);
- limits on our responsibility to you (sections 16 and 17);
- [IF SECTION 22.2 IS KEPT: an agreement to resolve most disputes through individual arbitration instead of in court, and a waiver of class actions and jury trials (section 22). You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days (section 22.2(j)).]
[BEFORE PUBLISHING: link the Refund & Cancellation Policy, SMS Terms, Privacy Policy, Pricing page, Speed Report, Crawler and Bot Policy and status page wherever they're mentioned. Match the menu names used below (Account, Billing, Manage subscription, Delete account, Report a problem) to the final product.]
The short version
This summary is here for convenience. The full Terms below control.
- We're a paid job-alert service, not a job board. We watch employers' own public career sites and job feeds. We tell you about new remote jobs that match the employer industries and keywords you choose. You can't browse or search jobs on our site, and you apply on the employer's own site.
- We can't promise you a job. We don't guarantee that a job is still open, that a posting is accurate, or that you'll get an interview or a job. We aren't affiliated with the employers whose jobs we monitor.
- You must be 18 or older and located in the United States.
- One person per account. Don't share your account or resell our alerts.
- Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Prices don't include sales tax. You can cancel online anytime in Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy. A full refund ends your access right away.
- Text alerts are an optional add-on ($10.00 a month) that needs its own consent. Reply STOP to cancel texts or HELP for help.
- Ultra's "15-minute alerts" is a monthly performance target for employers we label "Fast-Track." We measure it and publish the results in our monthly Speed Report. It isn't a guarantee for every alert.
- Unsubscribing from alert emails pauses your alerts but doesn't stop billing. To stop billing, cancel in Billing.
1. About these Terms
1.1 Agreeing to these Terms
You accept these Terms when you agree to them during sign-up or checkout (for example, by checking a box), or when you use the service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1.2 Other documents that apply
These documents are part of your agreement with us:
- our [Refund & Cancellation Policy] [LINK];
- our [SMS Terms] [LINK], if you add text alerts;
- the automatic-renewal terms and prices shown to you at checkout and repeated in your acknowledgment email;
- the terms of any promotional offer you accept.
Our [Privacy Policy] [LINK] explains how we collect, use and share personal information. Please read it too.
1.3 If documents say different things
- On billing, cancellation and refunds, the Refund & Cancellation Policy controls.
- On text messages, the SMS Terms control.
- For a promotional offer, the offer's own terms control for that offer.
- Otherwise, these Terms control.
2. Who can use the service
To use the service, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be located in the United States;
- be an individual using the service for your own job search, not on behalf of a business, a group or another person;
- be able to enter into a binding contract; and
- not have been barred from the service by us, unless we've agreed otherwise.
We don't offer the service to people outside the United States. Text alerts are available only for US mobile numbers.
We may ask you to confirm that you meet these requirements. If you don't meet them, we may close your account (section 19).
Employers and website owners: these Terms are for job seekers. If you run a careers site our crawler visits, please see our Crawler and Bot Policy.
3. What the service is, and what it isn't
3.1 A job-alert service, not a job board
FastFindRemoteJobs is a subscription alert service. Here is how it works:
- You set up alert rules. Each rule combines employer industries (from our list of industries, or "Any industry" on Ultra) and keywords. You also choose where a job must be open to applicants. The default is US-wide. You can change this in your rules, for example to specific states, or to also include jobs open to applicants in Canada or "anywhere."
- We monitor employers' career sites. Our systems check employers' own public career sites and job feeds for new job postings.
- We match and notify. When we detect a new remote job that matches one of your rules, we add it to your private dashboard and alert you, following your plan's timing (section 8) and your settings.
- You apply on the employer's site.
"Remote" means fully remote. By default, it means open to applicants in the United States. We don't include hybrid or on-site jobs. If a remote job is open only to residents of certain states, we label it (for example, "Remote: TX residents").
There's no job search, job browsing, company directory, public job pages or job-data feed. The service is a website plus alerts by email and, if you add it, by text message. We don't offer mobile apps.
3.2 Where job information comes from
- Employers' own sites. Our crawler, FastFindRemoteJobsBot, reads only public, logged-out career pages and public job feeds, and it follows robots.txt. Our Crawler and Bot Policy explains how it works.
- Job facts only. We keep basic facts about each job: the title, company, location, remote status, dates, salary if the posting publishes one, and the link to the posting. When we detect a posting, we read its text to classify it and check it against keywords. We don't keep job descriptions for display, and we never show them to you or republish them. Our Crawler and Bot Policy describes two limited internal exceptions. For full details of a job, follow the link to the employer's posting.
- Which employers we monitor. At launch, we monitor about 500 employers. [UPDATE AS COVERAGE CHANGES] The list changes over time. For example, employers can ask us to stop monitoring their sites, sites change or go offline, and we add or remove employers. We don't promise that any particular employer, industry or number of jobs is covered, or that we'll detect every new job on a site we monitor.
3.3 Automated matching and labels
Our matching and labels are automated, and they can be wrong.
- Matching follows your rules. By default, keywords are checked against the job title and description. You can limit a rule to titles only.
- Classifications. We work out each employer's industry and each job's remote status with automated tools. These include AI models that we run only on public company and job information. We never give these models information about you.
- Labels. We may label a match, for example:
- "Likely remote," if we're not certain a job is fully remote;
- "Description match," if your keywords appear only in the description;
- "Reposted";
- "Late detection";
- "May be closed."
- "Why it matched." The explanation on each match is generated automatically from your rule and the job's facts.
Please check the employer's posting before you apply. If something looks wrong, use Report a problem on the match.
3.4 Your dashboard
- Your dashboard is private. It shows only your own matches.
- A match appears on your dashboard once your plan's timing releases it (section 8.1).
- Your dashboard shows matches for jobs we first detected within the last 72 hours. After that, the match disappears from your dashboard. This includes jobs you saved, dismissed or marked as applied. We delete matches automatically about 96 hours after first detection.
- Your dashboard isn't an archive. If you want to keep track of a job, save the employer's link or keep your own notes.
3.5 Applying for jobs
- Apply on employer site takes you to the employer's own posting, on its site or its hiring platform. That site's own terms and privacy policy apply there.
- We don't apply for you, and we don't see or receive your applications.
- We don't send employers your name, email address, alert rules or matches. Your browser may tell the employer's site that you came from ours, as our Privacy Policy explains.
3.6 No guarantee of jobs, and no affiliation
- We're not an employment agency, recruiter, staffing firm or career counselor. We don't refer you to employers, represent you, or take part in any hiring decision.
- We don't guarantee that a job is still open, that a posting is accurate, complete or lawful, that its salary or remote status is correct, or that you're eligible for it. We also don't guarantee that you'll get an interview, an offer or a job.
- We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the employers whose jobs we monitor, or their job-board platforms. Employers don't pay us. Employer names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- Watch for scams. Legitimate employers rarely ask for payment, or for bank or card details, as part of applying. If a posting or a request seems wrong, stop and tell us with Report a problem.
4. Your account
4.1 Creating your account
- Give us accurate information, and keep your email address up to date. We send important notices there.
- You can sign in with an email address and password, an emailed sign-in link, or your Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, X or Yahoo account. We may add or remove sign-in options later. Options we may add include LinkedIn, phone-number sign-in and passkeys.
- If you sign in with another company's account, that company's terms apply to that account. If you lose access to it, you may also lose easy access to your account with us. Contact support@fastfindremotejobs.com if that happens.
4.2 Keeping your account secure
- Use a strong, unique password, or a secure sign-in provider. We recommend turning on multi-factor authentication with an authenticator app.
- Don't share your password or sign-in links.
- If you think someone else has accessed your account, tell us right away at support@fastfindremotejobs.com. Report security issues to abuse@fastfindremotejobs.com.
- You're responsible for activity in your account. The exceptions are activity caused by our failure to protect the service and activity after you've told us your account was compromised.
4.3 One person per account
Your account and your alerts are for you alone. You may not:
- share your sign-in details, or let anyone else use your account;
- sell, rent or resell access to the service, or your alerts;
- use one account for a group, a business, clients or other job seekers;
- regularly forward your alerts to other people, post them publicly, or use them to run a job-alert service for others.
You may share an individual job's link with someone you know.
How we enforce this.
- We limit the number of sessions signed in at the same time. The current limit is 3. We may also limit the number of devices.
- We watch for signs of sharing, resale or a compromised account, as our Privacy Policy describes.
- If we see those signs, we may:
- ask you to verify your identity again, for example with a one-time code sent to your email;
- sign out your other sessions;
- suspend or close the account (section 19).
4.4 Email addresses and phone numbers you give us
- Separate alert email. You can send alerts to an email address other than your sign-in email. It must be an address you control, and we verify it before we use it.
- Mobile number. If you add text alerts, the mobile number must be yours, or one you regularly use. If you change or give up that number, remove it or update it in your settings right away. That way, our texts don't go to someone else.
5. Plans and features
| Plan | Price per month (before tax) | When alerts are released | Alert rules | Industries per rule | Daily email cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $19.95 | One daily digest, at the start of your delivery window on your next enabled day | 3 | 1–3 | One digest a day |
| Pro | $49.95 | Every 4 hours, at 00:07, 04:07, 08:07, 12:07, 16:07 and 20:07 in your time zone | 5 | 1–5 | 100 [OWNER TO CONFIRM whether this counts emails or matches] |
| Ultra | $99.95 | As soon as we detect a match, subject to your delivery schedule and email settings | 10 | 1–5, or "Any industry" | 200 |
| SMS add-on (optional, any plan) | +$10.00 | Text alerts in addition to email (section 7) | — | — | — |
- Matches beyond your daily email cap still appear on your dashboard.
- "Any industry" is available only on Ultra.
- Our [Pricing page] [LINK] has full plan details.
- We may improve or add features at any time. Some changes may materially reduce what your plan includes, such as fewer alert rules, slower delivery or lower caps. For those, we'll give you advance notice (section 20), and the change will apply from your first renewal after the notice period.
6. Billing, automatic renewal and cancellation
This section summarizes how billing works. Our [Refund & Cancellation Policy] [LINK] has the details, and it controls if anything here differs.
6.1 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. On each renewal date, we charge your card on file:
- the price of your plan;
- plus $10.00 if you have the SMS add-on;
- plus any applicable sales tax.
For example, Pro with the SMS add-on renews at $59.95 per month plus tax.
There's no minimum term. You can cancel online anytime in Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
Before you pay, checkout shows these terms and your total recurring amount. It also asks you to confirm that you agree, for example by checking a box. After you subscribe, we email you an acknowledgment that repeats these terms and explains how to cancel. Please keep it for your records.
Billing period. Each billing period is one month, starting on the day you subscribe. You pay in advance for each period. You're billed on the same day each month, or on the last day of the month in a shorter month.
6.2 Payment
- You pay by card through our payment processor, Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's pages, not ours, and we never see or store your full card number.
- By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your card for:
- the recurring amount plus tax each billing period until you cancel;
- any prorated upgrade charge you approve (section 6.5).
- Keep your card details current in Account → Billing. Your card issuer may give Stripe updated details for your card (for example, a new expiration date), and we may use them to continue your subscription.
- Prices are in US dollars.
6.3 Taxes
Our prices don't include sales tax. Where sales tax applies, Stripe calculates it from your billing information. It's added at checkout and on each renewal, and checkout shows it before you pay.
6.4 No free trial; promotional codes
- We don't offer a free trial. We may sometimes offer promotional codes.
- Each code's terms are shown with the offer, including the discount, how long it lasts, who can use it and when it expires.
- Before you pay, checkout shows your discounted price, how long the discount lasts and the regular price after it ends.
- When a discount ends, your subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel.
- Unless an offer says otherwise, codes:
- have no cash value;
- can't be sold or transferred;
- can't be combined with other codes;
- can't be applied to payments you've already made.
- If a code is misused, we may remove the discount. Examples of misuse are using it on more than one account or breaking the offer's terms.
- [OWNER TO CONFIRM: We may stop offering a code at any time, but we won't remove a discount already applied to your subscription before the end of the promised period, as long as your subscription stays active.]
- [IF COMPLIMENTARY BETA CODES ARE USED: Complimentary beta access doesn't turn into a paid subscription automatically. We'll ask you to subscribe at the regular price if you want to continue.]
6.5 Changing your plan or the SMS add-on
- Upgrading.
- You can upgrade at any time.
- Before you confirm, we show the prorated amount you'll be charged now, plus any tax.
- Your new plan starts once that payment succeeds. If it fails, you stay on your current plan.
- Your billing date doesn't change. Later renewals are at the new plan's price.
- Downgrading.
- You can switch to a lower plan at any time.
- The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You keep your current plan's features until then.
- There's no refund or credit for the difference.
- [OWNER TO CONFIRM how rules that exceed the lower plan's limits, including "Any industry" rules, are handled.]
- Adding the SMS add-on. You can add it at any time. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: If you add it partway through a billing period, you're charged a prorated amount for the rest of that period.]
- Removing the SMS add-on. You can remove it at any time. Removal takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with no partial refund.
6.6 Canceling
How to cancel. Sign in, go to Account → Billing, select Manage subscription (our billing portal, provided by Stripe), and select Cancel subscription. You don't need to call us or give a reason.
When it takes effect.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
- Until then, you keep full access, and you won't be charged again.
- To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date shown in Billing.
Can't sign in? Email billing@fastfindremotejobs.com from the email address on your account and ask us to cancel. We'll cancel and confirm by email within [NUMBER] business day(s). The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how emailed requests are handled.
These don't cancel your subscription, and billing continues:
- clicking unsubscribe in an alert email, which pauses alert emails only;
- turning off texts, or replying STOP (section 7 explains what happens to the SMS add-on charge);
- turning off your alert rules, or setting every day of your delivery schedule to Off;
- not using the service.
After your paid period ends:
- alerts stop, and you can no longer see matches on your dashboard;
- the SMS add-on ends, and we delete your mobile number;
- your account stays open, so you can come back without setting up your rules again;
- we delete your profile, alert rules and delivery schedule 24 months after you cancel, and we email you 30 days before we do. To delete everything sooner, delete your account (section 14).
If you subscribe again, a new billing period starts that day, at the price in effect then.
6.7 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails:
- we email you, and Stripe retries the charge automatically;
- you get a 7-day grace period, during which your alerts and dashboard keep working;
- [OWNER TO CONFIRM: after the grace period, your alerts and dashboard access pause until a payment succeeds;]
- retries continue for up to about 2 weeks after the first failed attempt;
- if no retry succeeds, we cancel your subscription. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: We won't try to collect the unpaid amount after that.]
The quickest fix is to update your card in Billing.
6.8 Refunds
[ATTORNEY/OWNER TO CONFIRM] Payments are non-refundable, except as our Refund & Cancellation Policy describes or where the law requires a refund. That includes partial months, time you didn't use, and periods with few or no matches. We may give a goodwill refund at our discretion. A goodwill refund in one case doesn't mean we'll give one in another.
- A full refund of your most recent subscription payment ends your subscription and your access immediately.
- A partial or courtesy refund doesn't change your subscription or access.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe.
- To ask for a refund, email billing@fastfindremotejobs.com.
6.9 Price changes and pricing errors
- Price changes. We may change our prices.
- Before a change applies to you, we'll email you at least [NOTICE PERIOD] in advance. The email will give the new price, when it starts and how to cancel.
- The new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period. It never applies to a period you've already paid for.
- If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before then.
- Pricing errors. If we charge you a price that is clearly an error, we'll tell you. You can then choose to continue at the correct price or cancel and get a refund of the incorrect charge.
6.10 Billing problems and chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, please email billing@fastfindremotejobs.com first. We can often fix billing problems faster than a bank dispute can.
This is a request, not a requirement. You can always dispute a charge with your card issuer. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under federal or state law or card-network rules. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how we handle disputed charges.
7. Text-message alerts (SMS add-on)
The SMS add-on is optional and costs $10.00 per month on any plan. Our [SMS Terms] [LINK] govern text alerts. In summary:
- Your consent is separate. To get texts, you check a consent box that is never checked in advance, then confirm your number with a one-time code. Agreeing to these Terms or buying a plan doesn't give us consent to text you. You don't have to agree to receive texts to buy any plan.
- The program. "FastFindRemoteJobs Alerts" sends recurring, automated job-alert texts:
- Ultra: a text for each alert, with the job title, the company and a short link to the match on your dashboard. "Likely remote" and "Description match" alerts aren't texted. They arrive by email and on your dashboard.
- Pro: one text per 4-hour batch, with the number of new matches and a link.
- Basic: one text when your daily digest is ready.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies with your plan, matches and settings, up to about 40 texts a day. Matches beyond that go by email only.
- Timing. Texts follow your delivery schedule (section 8.2). Ultra and Pro default to "24 hours" every day, so texts can arrive at night unless you set a delivery window.
- Costs. Message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping texts and getting help. Reply STOP to any text to cancel text alerts, or HELP for help. You can also write to support@fastfindremotejobs.com.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Limits. US mobile numbers only. We don't send marketing texts.
- Your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers we use to deliver our text program. See our Privacy Policy.
- Replying STOP and billing. [ATTORNEY/OWNER TO CHOOSE ONE, to match the SMS Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy §6:]
- [OPTION A (recommended): Replying STOP also removes the SMS add-on at the end of your current billing period, so you won't be charged for it again. We'll email you to confirm.]
- [OPTION B: Replying STOP stops texts but doesn't remove the SMS add-on or its $10.00 monthly charge. To stop paying for it, remove the add-on in Billing. We'll email you a reminder with a link.]
- When the add-on ends, we delete your mobile number. We keep a record of your text-message consent, as our Privacy Policy explains.
8. Alert timing and the Ultra speed target
8.1 When each plan's alerts are released
We detect a new job when we check the employer's site. What happens next depends on your plan:
- Ultra: we release the match as soon as we detect it.
- Pro: we release matches at the next fixed time: 00:07, 04:07, 08:07, 12:07, 16:07 or 20:07 in your time zone. Each batch includes the matches released since the previous batch. A job detected just after a batch may reach you about 4 hours later.
- Basic: we send one daily digest at the start of your delivery window on your next enabled day. A job goes into a digest only when at least 7 hours have passed since we detected it.
Your dashboard follows your plan's release timing. On Pro and Basic, a match doesn't appear on your dashboard before its release time.
8.2 Your delivery schedule and settings
- Delivery schedule. For each day of the week, you choose Off, 24 hours, or a start–stop window, in your time zone. The schedule applies to email and text alerts, not to your dashboard.
- Ultra and Pro: alerts that come up outside your window are held and sent together as one summary when your next window starts.
- Basic: your digest goes out at the start of your window. Days set to Off roll over to your next enabled day.
- Defaults: Ultra and Pro, 24 hours every day; Basic, 07:00 every day.
- "Skip empty emails" is on by default. If you turn it off, you'll get a short "no new matches" note at your Pro batch time or Basic digest time when there's nothing new.
- Ultra email throttle. You can choose to space out Ultra alert emails to every 5 or 15 minutes.
- Daily caps apply as described in sections 5 and 7.
Delays that come from your own choices, such as your schedule and throttle, are not delays on our side.
8.3 What "15-minute alerts" means
We advertise Ultra as "15-minute alerts." Here is what that means:
- Which employers it covers. Only employers we label "Fast-Track." We check some employers less often. We label them "Standard," and the target doesn't cover them. [OWNER TO CONFIRM where subscribers can see each employer's label.]
- When the clock starts. We can't see the exact moment an employer publishes a job. So we start the clock at the earliest moment the job could have appeared on the employer's site without our previous check seeing it. That moment is the time of our previous check of that site, moved earlier by the time that site's pages may be cached. Measuring this way counts the longest possible delay. The real delay is often shorter.
- When the clock stops. When we hand the alert to our email or text-message provider.
- What doesn't count. Delays you choose, such as your delivery schedule or the Ultra email throttle. Delivery time after hand-off doesn't count either (section 8.5).
- The target. At least 95% of Ultra alerts for Fast-Track employers meet the 15-minute mark each month.
- The Speed Report. We publish our results every month in our public [Speed Report] [LINK]. It contains only overall statistics, and no personal information.
8.4 What the speed target is not
- It's a target, not a promise for each alert. Some alerts will take longer. For example, an employer's site or feed may be slow, cached for longer than usual, unavailable, or blocking our crawler. Our service or one of our providers may also have an outage.
- It doesn't apply to Pro or Basic alerts, or to alerts for Standard employers.
- There are no automatic refunds or service credits if we miss the target. You can still contact us, and we'll consider a goodwill refund (section 6.8).
8.5 Delivery after hand-off
After we hand an alert to our email or text-message provider, delivery depends on your email provider, spam filters and mobile carrier, which we don't control. To help our emails reach you, add our sending addresses to your contacts.
9. Emails we send you
- Alert emails are part of the service you pay for. Each alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it pauses your alert emails but doesn't cancel your subscription or stop billing. You can turn alert emails back on in your notification settings. To stop billing, cancel in Billing (section 6.6).
- Service messages. While you have an account, we send messages about your account, security, sign-in, billing, receipts, renewals, payment problems, changes to these Terms, and upcoming account deletion. We send them even if you've paused alert emails.
- Optional emails. We send other emails, such as product news, only if you asked for them or as the law allows. Each one includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
10. Acceptable use
When you use the service, you may not:
- share or resell your account or alerts (section 4.3), or redistribute alerts, matches or job information from the service. That includes publishing them, or adding them to a job board, newsletter, group, database or other product. Sharing one job's link with someone you know is fine;
- scrape, crawl or use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service or collect data from it, including our website and dashboard. Handling your own alert emails for your own use, for example with email filters or by forwarding them to your own address, is fine;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the service, or try to work out its source code, matching methods or non-public interfaces, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- get around our limits or security. That includes plan limits, release timing (for example, trying to see Pro or Basic matches early), session limits, rate limits, bot checks and access controls;
- probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses without our written permission, or overload, disrupt or interfere with the service. Please report security issues to abuse@fastfindremotejobs.com;
- use the service to build or train a competing product, a dataset or an AI model;
- give false information, pretend to be someone else, or create more than one account to get around limits, promotions or a suspension;
- misuse promotional codes, refunds or Report a problem (for example, by sending false reports);
- use the service to break the law, or to harass employers, their staff or anyone else;
- remove our notices, or frame or mirror any part of the service.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account (section 19).
11. Our intellectual property
- What's ours. We, or our licensors, own the service. That includes our software, website, design, text, match explanations, labels and classifications, the Speed Report, and the way we select and arrange job information. These are protected by intellectual-property laws. "FastFindRemoteJobs" and our logos are our trademarks.
- What isn't ours. Job facts come from employers' public postings. Job postings, employer names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners.
- Your license. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the service for your own job search. The license lasts while your account is in good standing. Subscriber features also require an active subscription. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you.
12. Your information and feedback
- What you give us. Your alert rules, keywords, settings, problem reports and messages remain yours. You let us use them to provide, secure and improve the service, as our Privacy Policy describes. For example, we may use problem reports, without your identity, to correct job information and improve our labels.
- What not to send. Don't send us anything unlawful, or anyone else's confidential information.
- Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without any obligation or payment to you. Please don't send confidential information as feedback.
- Complaints about content. If you believe something on the service infringes your rights, write to abuse@fastfindremotejobs.com.
13. Third-party sites, services and content
The service links to, or depends on, other companies' sites and services. Examples:
- employers' career sites and hiring platforms;
- the sign-in providers you choose;
- Stripe for payments;
- your email provider and your mobile carrier.
Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We don't control them, and we aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link isn't an endorsement.
Job postings are the employers' content. Employers are responsible for their postings and their hiring decisions. We don't independently verify whether postings are accurate or legitimate.
14. Privacy, your data and deleting your account
-
Privacy. Our [Privacy Policy] [LINK] explains how we handle personal information. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
-
Export. You can download a copy of your data from your dashboard.
-
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account. When you do:
- your subscription is canceled immediately, including any SMS add-on, and your access ends right away;
- you're signed out on all devices;
- we delete your personal information, except as our Privacy Policy describes. For example, copies stay in backups for up to about 90 days, and we keep some records where the law requires;
- [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM] there's no refund for the unused part of your billing period, unless the law requires one.
Want to use the time you've already paid for? Cancel first (section 6.6), and delete your account after your paid period ends.
15. Availability, changes to the service and support
- Changes. The service will change over time. We may add, change or remove features. Section 5 explains how we handle changes that materially reduce your plan.
- Availability.
- We work to keep the service running, but we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Maintenance, outages and problems at our providers can cause delays, and some alerts may arrive late or not at all.
- Our core systems run in a single Google Cloud region. An outage there can make the whole service unavailable.
- Our status page is at [STATUS PAGE URL].
- We don't offer a service-level agreement or service credits.
- Support. Email support@fastfindremotejobs.com. We'll try to answer promptly.
- Ending the service. If we decide to stop offering the service, we'll email you at least [NOTICE PERIOD; suggested: 30 days] in advance. Section 19.4 covers refunds.
16. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
In particular, we don't promise:
- that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure;
- that we'll detect every new job, or alert you within any particular time;
- that job information, classifications or labels are accurate, complete or current;
- that any posting is legitimate, open, remote, or right for you;
- that you'll get an interview, an offer or a job.
The service doesn't give career, legal, financial or tax advice.
Some states don't allow certain warranties to be disclaimed, so some of the above may not apply to you. You may also have other rights that vary by state.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We aren't liable for indirect losses. That means indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, and lost profits, lost wages or earnings, lost job opportunities or lost data. This applies to anything arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms, even if we were told such losses were possible.
- Our total liability has a cap. For all claims arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the [3/12] months before the event that gave rise to the claim. [ATTORNEY TO CHOOSE] [OPTIONAL: or $[AMOUNT], whichever is greater.]
- We aren't liable for what others do. This includes employers, hiring platforms, sign-in providers, email providers and mobile carriers.
What these limits don't cover. These limits don't apply to:
- liability for our fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct;
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- any other liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit;
- any refund we owe you under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the law.
Some states don't allow these kinds of limits. If you live in one of them, the limits apply only to the extent that state's law allows.
18. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable attorneys' fees, to the extent they arise from:
- (a) your sharing or resale of your account or alerts, or your other breach of section 4.3 or section 10;
- (b) your violation of the law or of someone else's rights;
- (c) content you submit to us.
This doesn't apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach of these Terms, negligence or misconduct. We'll tell you promptly about any claim this section covers and let you take part in the defense with your own counsel.
19. Suspension and termination
19.1 By you
You can cancel your subscription at any time (section 6.6), and you can delete your account at any time (section 14).
19.2 By us
We may suspend or close your account, or limit features, if:
- you break these Terms, for example by sharing or reselling your account (section 4.3) or breaking the acceptable-use rules (section 10);
- we reasonably suspect fraud, or use of your account by someone who isn't allowed to use it;
- we need to, to follow the law or protect the security of the service, our users or others;
- your payment fails and isn't fixed (section 6.7);
- you don't meet the eligibility requirements (section 2).
Where it's practical and lawful, we'll tell you why. Where appropriate, we'll give you a chance to fix the problem first, for example by verifying your identity again. For serious or repeated violations, we may act right away.
19.3 If we stop offering the service
We'll give you notice as section 15 describes.
19.4 Refunds after suspension or termination
- If we suspend or close your account because you broke these Terms, there's no refund, except where the law requires one.
- [ATTORNEY/OWNER TO CONFIRM] If we stop offering the service, or close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of your current billing period.
19.5 What continues after termination
When your account ends, your right to use the service ends. Some sections continue to apply because of what they're about: sections 3.6, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23 and 25, and any others that by their nature should continue.
20. Changes to these Terms
- How we change them. We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
- Notice of material changes. We'll give at least [NOTICE PERIOD; suggested: 30] days' notice before a material change takes effect. We'll send it by email to your account email address, with a notice in your dashboard. A change may take effect sooner if the law requires it or we need it to address a security or legal issue.
- Changes only apply going forward. Price changes follow section 6.9. Changes that reduce your plan apply from your first renewal after the notice period.
- If you don't agree. If you keep using the service after the effective date, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, cancel before the effective date. The current Terms will keep applying to you until your paid period ends.
- [IF SECTION 22.2 IS KEPT: Changes to the arbitration agreement follow section 22.2(k).]
- [ATTORNEY TO DECIDE whether any kinds of change need your affirmative acceptance instead.]
21. Governing law and where disputes are heard
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any protection you have under consumer-protection laws of the state where you live that can't be waived by contract.
Courts. [IF SECTION 22.2 IS KEPT: For any dispute that isn't required to go to arbitration, or if you opt out of arbitration:]
- Disputes will be heard in the state courts located in [COUNTY] County, Pennsylvania, or in the United States District Court for the [FEDERAL DISTRICT] District of Pennsylvania.
- You and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
- Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, in the county where you live or in [COUNTY] County, Pennsylvania, if the claim qualifies.
22. Resolving disputes
22.1 Talk to us first
Most problems can be solved quickly. Before either of us starts an arbitration or a court case (other than in small claims court), we each agree to send the other a written Notice of Dispute. It should give your name and account email address, describe the problem, and say what you're asking for.
- Send yours to support@fastfindremotejobs.com with the subject line "Notice of Dispute," or by mail to [MAILING ADDRESS].
- We'll send ours to your account email address.
We'll both try in good faith to resolve the dispute within [60] days after the notice is received. Any deadline for bringing the claim is paused during that time.
This doesn't limit your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer (section 6.10), or to contact a government agency.
22.2 [OPTIONAL: ATTORNEY TO KEEP OR REMOVE] Binding individual arbitration and class-action waiver
[DRAFTING NOTE: Keep or delete all of section 22.2. If it's deleted, also delete the bracketed references in the introduction and in sections 20 and 21. See reviewer note 3.]
(a) Agreement to arbitrate. If we can't resolve a dispute under section 22.1, you and we agree to resolve it through binding arbitration on an individual basis, instead of in court. The only exceptions are listed in (b).
- This covers any dispute, claim or controversy between you and us that arises out of or relates to these Terms, the service, your subscription, or our emails or text messages to you.
- It covers claims based on contract, statute, tort or any other legal theory.
- The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 22.2.
- The arbitrator decides questions about the scope and enforceability of this agreement to arbitrate, except as (b)(4) says.
(b) Exceptions. These don't have to go to arbitration:
- individual claims in small claims court;
- claims by either of us to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property;
- [OPTIONAL: requests for public injunctive relief. A court decides these after any individual claims are arbitrated;]
- disputes about whether the class-action waiver in (g) is valid or enforceable. A court decides these.
(c) Rules and provider. The arbitration will be run by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as this section modifies them. [ALTERNATIVE: JAMS, under its applicable consumer rules.] The rules in effect when the arbitration starts apply. The AAA's rules are available at adr.org. If the AAA can't or won't administer the arbitration, we'll agree on another provider, or a court will appoint one.
(d) Starting an arbitration. After the section 22.1 period ends, the party starting the arbitration must file a demand under the provider's rules. That party must also send a copy to the other party, at the addresses in section 22.1.
(e) Fees.
- Filing, administration and arbitrator fees are paid as the provider's consumer fee rules require, and we'll pay the fees those rules assign to businesses.
- [OPTIONAL: If your claim is for $[AMOUNT] or less, we'll also reimburse your filing fee.]
- Each of us pays our own attorneys' fees, unless the law or the rules allow the arbitrator to award them.
- We won't seek our attorneys' fees from you unless the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous or brought for an improper purpose.
(f) Hearing and award.
- The arbitration will be held by video, by phone or on written submissions. If a hearing in person is needed, it will be held in the county where you live, unless we both agree otherwise.
- The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could. Injunctive or declaratory relief may be awarded only in your favor as an individual, and only as far as needed to resolve your individual claim.
- The arbitrator's decision will be in writing, and it is final and binding. Any court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on it.
(g) Class-action and jury-trial waiver.
- You and we may each bring claims against the other only individually. Neither of us may bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding.
- The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims, or preside over any class or representative proceeding.
- You and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and to have a judge decide, any claim covered by this section.
(h) Mass filings. [OPTIONAL: If 25 or more similar demands are filed against us, or by us, by the same or coordinated counsel, the provider's rules for mass arbitrations apply. The demands may be administered in batches. Any deadline for bringing a claim is paused for demands waiting in a batch.]
(i) If part of this section can't be enforced.
- If the class-action waiver in (g) is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be separated and heard in court under section 21, not in a class arbitration.
- [OPTIONAL, if (b)(3) is kept: Any request for public injunctive relief is heard in court after the individual claims are arbitrated.]
- The rest of this section still applies to other claims.
(j) Your right to opt out within 30 days.
- You can opt out of this agreement to arbitrate. Send us notice within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. If this section was added after you first accepted these Terms, send it within 30 days after it took effect.
- To opt out, email support@fastfindremotejobs.com from your account email address, with the subject line "Arbitration opt-out," or write to us at [MAILING ADDRESS]. Include your name, your account email address and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
- Opting out doesn't affect your subscription or any other part of these Terms. If you opt out, disputes are heard in court under section 21.
(k) Changes to this section.
- If we change this section after you've accepted it, the change won't apply to any claim you've already told us about.
- You can reject the change by sending us notice, in the way described in (j), within 30 days after the change takes effect. If you do, the earlier version of this section keeps applying to you.
(l) Survival. This section continues to apply after your account ends.
23. Notices and electronic communications
23.1 Your consent to electronic communications
By creating an account, you agree that we may give you agreements, disclosures, notices, receipts and other communications electronically. We do this by email to your account email address, in your dashboard or Billing, or by posting on our website. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
- What you need. A device with internet access, a current web browser, and an email account that can receive our emails. Keep your email address current, and check your spam folder.
- Paper copies. You can ask for a paper copy of any agreement or notice by writing to support@fastfindremotejobs.com. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: at no charge.]
- Withdrawing consent. The service is provided only online. To withdraw your consent, you need to cancel your subscription and delete your account (section 14).
23.2 Notices to you
We send notices to your account email address, and we may also show them in your dashboard. If an important notice to your email address bounces, we'll show it in your dashboard and in Billing.
23.3 Notices to us
- General: support@fastfindremotejobs.com
- Billing and cancellation: billing@fastfindremotejobs.com
- Privacy: privacy@fastfindremotejobs.com
- Legal notices (including a Notice of Dispute or an arbitration opt-out): support@fastfindremotejobs.com, with the subject line described in section 22, or by mail to [MAILING ADDRESS]

24. State-specific notices
California residents.
- Who provides the service. The service is provided by Conner Strategic Systems LLC, [MAILING ADDRESS]. Our charges are described in sections 5 and 6.
- Complaints. Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Residents of other states. If your state's law gives you more rights than these Terms, for example a right to a refund or a particular way to cancel, we'll follow that law.
25. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the documents in section 1.2 are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. They replace any earlier agreements about it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these Terms. We may transfer our rights and obligations to an affiliate, or to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business. If we do, we'll tell you.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce part of these Terms, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- Severability. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Section 22.2(i) has its own rule for the arbitration section.
- Events beyond our control. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Examples include outages at our cloud, email or text-message providers, internet or carrier failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, war, labor disputes and government action. This doesn't affect any refund you're owed.
- No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms are only for the benefit of you and us.
- Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
- Interpretation. Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including, without limitation."
- Language. These Terms are written in English. If we translate them, the English version controls.
- Accessibility. If you need these Terms in another format because of a disability, contact support@fastfindremotejobs.com, and we'll help.
